Works with Enphase, SolarEdge, APS DS3, SMA, Fronius, Tesla, Generac PWRcell, and almost any inverter — even leased solar, because the battery is downstream of their equipment.
No. Modern LFP batteries (Tesla PW3, Sigenergy, EG4, Ruixu) all have 200A pass-through, so your entire main panel runs through the battery during an outage. No sub-panel, no rewiring breakers, no choosing which lights stay on. Whole-home backup is the only thing we install.
Backup-only battery installs run about 1 day on-site. Solar + battery bundles run 2–3 days. Permitting, RMP interconnection, and the Wattsmart application add 2–4 weeks before we break ground — we handle that paperwork in the background.
